Weston Bible Week

Continuing our successful series of presentations with open question times we are pleased to welcome two highly acclaimed Christian speakers Dr John Drane and Rev Dave Bookless to the 2009 Bible Week Plus.

Dr John Drane is a prolific author, University Professor (Scotland and U.S.A.) and International Convention Speaker.   He is a thought provoking, encouraging yet challenging speaker and we are delighted to bring him to Somerset from Aberdeen.

His theme for Tuesday and Wednesday 3rd and 4th March 2009 will be ‘Effective Christian Ministry in a Spiritually searching world’.

Rev Dave Bookless is a speaker at many International Conferences, Leader in UK of A-Rocha, a ‘hands on’ environmental charity, and an author.  His latest book is entitled ‘Planet wise-dare to care for God’s world’ and he has had numerous articles published in magazines and newspapers.

Dave’s theme on Thursday 5th March will be ‘Good news for all Creation?’ and will be an exploration of Christian faith and the environment.
