Since 1980, many
nationally and internationally acclaimed Bible teachers have been
brought to Weston-super-Mare for Bible Week and Bible Week Plus -
and the names, which do indeed speak for themselves, form a
catalogue of this country's finest Bible teachers.
The emphasis is
very much on expository preaching. Each session within the
three or five days is self contained - but part of a holistic whole.
Our philosophy is that outstanding
speakers bring up to date scholarship and cultural understanding
that helps keep local church life fresh and relevant and stimulates
Church Leaders.
The events are
free with expenses covered from collections at each session.
We use venues that encourage participative listening.
Weston Bible Week
is run by a small but committed Council drawn from the leadership of
local Churches. We are part of
the
Keswick Ministries known as
'Regional Keswick' and are run under the auspices of
Churches Together in
Weston-super-Mare and District.
Weston-super-Mare is one of a small
group of holiday towns situated
along the Bristol Channel in close proximity to Bristol and Taunton.
Our Vision Statement:
'We wish to serve the members of the varied congregations and
fellowships of Weston and North Somerset by joining together to
provide outstanding Bible teaching that will enhance and encourage
